How it works, in three steps

  1. Reachable first. Chargers come from the U.S. Department of Energy's public station data. Anything outside a conservative range estimate, with a 30% safety margin, is never offered as your best stop.
  2. An honest charge time. Charging slows as the battery fills, so the time is modelled band by band and shown as a range, not a single promise.
  3. Something worth doing. Each stop lists cafés, food, parks and shops within walking distance, so the wait becomes a real break.
